Whether your favorite way to pass an afternoon is a trip to the movies or visiting museums, many entertainment and cultural discounts are available to seniors

Many movie theaters have discounted admission for seniors, typically for afternoon showings. Museums, national parks, and even theme parks may also provide discounted admission rates for seniors, and sometimes even free admission on select days of the year.

An important note to keep in mind… One of the most common myths is that senior discounts are only for low-income seniors. The truth, however, is that senior discounts are for any individual who qualifies for them regardless of their income level. Think of these discounts as a gesture of appreciation for years of hard work and dedication that seniors have shown throughout their lives.
